Step #1: Open a PowerPoint Presentation
Open a PowerPoint presentation with a slide containing at least one text box.
Step #2: Select the text box boundary
Note: The text box may display a boundary, or the boundary may be hidden.
Click on the contents of the text box.
This will make the boundary visible.
Click on the boundary line to select the text box itself, not the text.
Step #3: Delete the text box
Press the Delete button on your keyboard.
Or, right-click on the boundary of the text box.
In the menu that opens, click on Cut.
The text box and its contents no longer appear on the slide.
Method #2: Delete Two or More Text Boxes Simultaneously
Step #1: Open a PowerPoint Presentation
Open a PowerPoint presentation with a slide containing at least two text boxes.
Step #2: Select the text box boundaries

Click on the contents of the first text box.
This will make its boundary visible.

Click on the object on top of the text box to select it.

In the menu that slides out, click on Send to Back.
