How to Import ICS into Google Calendar

Step #1: Open Google Calendar

Login to Google using your credentials.

Open your Google calendar.

Step #2: Open the Import Dialog

In the top right corner, click on the Settings icon in the shape of a gear.

This will open a drop-down menu.

Click on the Settings option.

Click the third item from top — Import & export.

This will open a drop-down menu.

Click on the Import tab in the left pane.

An Import and Export dialog box will open in the right pane.

Under Import, click on Select file from your computer.

Step #3: Import the ICS File

The File Manager will open.

Navigate to the location of your ICS file.

Click to select the ICS file.

Click on the Open button at the bottom.

The ICS file will now appear in the dialog box in the Import section.

Click on the Import button to import the file.

A notification will appear informing you of the successful import of events.

Click on OK to close the notification.

Click on the left-arrow next to Settings to exit the Settings menu.

Your Google calendar will now show the new extra events you have imported. from the ICS file.
