How to Print a Google Calendar

Do you need to print your Google calendar to share with others? Or to attach it to other documents as a reference? You can print your calendar and stick it on the fridge for visible access to all your tasks and events for the month.

We share how you can print your Google calendar in simple, step-by-step instructions.

Let us begin.


Step #1: Open a Google Calendar

Login to Google using your credentials.

Open Google calendar.

By default, Google calendar opens in the current month.

Click on the Left and Right buttons on the right side of Today to navigate to the month you want to print.

Step #2: Open the Settings Menu

Click on the gear symbol in the top right corner.

This opens the Settings menu.

Click on Print.

This opens a Print preview dialog box in the left pane.

A preview of the calendar that will be printed is shown in the right pane.

Note: You can also reach the Print preview dialog box by pressing CTRL+P on your keyboard, if you have a PC.

Step #3: Set Print Range

In the Print preview dialog box, you may further change the range of dates for the printout.

Click on the start date under the Print range to change it.

Click on the end date under the Print range to change it.

Step #4: Set Print View

By default, the print view is set to Auto.

Click on the small triangle next to View to change it.

This opens a menu.

Select from the choices available:

  • Auto — the default print view (month view).
  • Day — the print view will change to the day view.
  • Week — the print view will change to the week view.

The preview will change accordingly.

Step #5: Set the Font size

By default, the font size is set to Normal.

Click on the small triangle next to Font size to change it.

This opens a menu.

Select the font size from the choices available:

Smallest, Smaller, Small, Normal, Big, Bigger, Biggest.

The preview will change accordingly.

Step #6: Set the Orientation

By default, the orientation is set to Auto.

Click on the small triangle next to Orientation to change it.

This opens a menu.

Select from the choices available:

  • Auto — the default orientation (Landscape)
  • Portrait — the orientation changes to portrait.
  • Landscape — the orientation changes to landscape.

The preview changes accordingly.

Step #7: Set the Color and Style

By default, the color and style is set to Full Colour.

Click on the small triangle beside Colour and style to change it.

This opens a menu.

Select from the choices available:

  • Outline — tasks and events are shown in color on a white background.
  • Full color — tasks and events are in color on a colored background.
  • Black and white — the entire calendar is in black and white.

The preview changes accordingly.

Step #8: Set to Show Weekends

By default, the calendar shows all weekends.

Click on Show weekends to change it.

Ensure there is no tick-mark in the box next to Show weekends if you do not want to include weekends in the printout.

The preview changes accordingly.

Step #9: Set to Show Declined Events

By default, the calendar does not show events you have declined.

Click on Show events that you’ve declined to change this.

Ensure a tick-mark appears in the box next to Show events that you’ve declined.

The preview changes accordingly.

Step #10: Open the Print Dialog

Click on the Print button at the bottom of the Print preview dialog box.

The Print Preview dialog box closes.

A Print dialog box opens.

Note: The Print dialog box depends on the browser you are using.

There are two panes— the left gives a preview of the calendar about to be printed, and the right pane is the Print dialog box.

Depending on the printer you are using, in the Print dialog, you can select:

  • Destination — the printer attached to your system
  • Orientation — Portrait or Landscape
  • Pages — All pages, Odd pages, Even pages, Custom pages
  • Color mode — Color or Black and White
  • More settings — Paper size, Scale of the printout, and Pages per sheet

Step #11: Print the Calendar

Once you have set the Print parameters to fit your printer, click on the Print button at the bottom.

You will now have a printout of your calendar.
