How to Restore a Deleted Event in Google Calendar

If you have deleted an event in your calendar by accident, or one you thought you no longer need, Google Calendar can help you get it back.

But you can only recover events that were deleted less than 30 days ago.

We will show you how to recover a deleted event in easy, step-by-step instructions.

Let us begin.

Step #1: Open Google Calendar

Login to Google using your credentials.

Open Google Calendar.

By default, the calendar will show the current day and month.

Step #2: Open the Trash Bin

Click the gear icon in the top right corner to open the Settings Menu.

Click the Bin tab.

This opens the trash bin for your calendar.

Step #3: Restore an Event

The trash bin shows all events that you have deleted within the last 30 days.

  1. Select the event or events that you want to restore by ticking the checkbox preceding its name.
  2. Click on the Restore all selected icon, which looks like an arrow making a u-turn.

A brief notification pops up telling you Event restored.

  1. Click on the Return icon, an arrow to the extreme left, to close the trash bin and return to your calendar.

The event or events are now restored.

Conclusion

It is fairly easy to restore events in Google Calendar that have been deleted. But know that you can only restore them within 30 days of deleting them.
