The option of inserting page breaks is available only on PCs and not in mobile applications
Using the Custom Page Break option
Step 1: Open the Google Sheets spreadsheet.
Step 2: Go to File and then Print option.
Go to the File tab, and click on Print at the bottom to open the Print Settings tab.
Alternatively, you can enter Ctrl+P from the keyboard to directly open the Print Settings tab.
Step 3: Select SET CUSTOM PAGE BREAKS.
Click on SET CUSTOM PAGE BREAKS, located at the right of the page (in blue color) to set page breaks.
This’ll provide the preview of the page break at present, and will enable you to create page breaks.
Step 4: Use dotted lines to create a page break.
Use your mouse and move the dotted lines to create page breaks. You can create as many page breaks as you require.
This can be done in rows as well as columns. Drag the dotted lines from their place and release them where you want to create a page break.
Step 5: Click on CONFIRM BREAKS.
Click on CONFIRM BREAKS at the top-right of the preview.
How to edit page break in Google Sheets
Step 1: Go to File and then Print option.
To edit page breaks, go to the File tab and click on Print at the bottom to open the Print Settings tab again, or press Ctrl+P.
Step 2: Click on EDIT on the right.
Just right to the Custom page breaks you clicked on earlier, click on EDIT this time to edit the page break.
Step 3: Click on RESET.
On the top of the preview, click on RESET to clear all the page breaks you used earlier. Now you can create new page breaks as required.
To do so, repeat steps 4 and 5 of inserting page breaks to create new page breaks.
How to remove page break in Google Sheets
Follow the below steps if you want to get rid of page breaks completely.
Step 1: Go to File and then Print option.
As previously mentioned, click on File and then on Print, or press Ctrl+P from the keyboard.
Step 2: Turn off Custom page breaks.
To remove an existing page break, just click on the toggle highlighted next to Custom page breaks. This will remove all previous page breaks and will show all your data in one place.
