How to Zoom in and Out in Google Sheets

Google Sheets are a helpful free option for people to work on different datasets. Zooming in and out on Google sheets proves to be handy. We are covering two ways to do this with a handy shortcut as well.

Method 1: Using the tool bar options. 

Step 1: Navigate to the View icon on the toolbar. 

Open your Google Sheet and click on the view shortcut. Click on it and you can control the zoom percentage. 

Step 2: Select your Zoom percentage. 

Click on a percentage lower than 100% to Zoom out. For ex. click on 75% and your sheet will be zoomed out.

Click on a percentage greater than 100% to Zoom in. For ex. click on 125% and your sheet will be zoomed in.

To reset the page Zoom, click on 100%. 


Method 2: Using the view options.

You can simply click on View and click on Zoom in the drop-down options. Now click on the zoom percentage that opens up and select one. 

To reset the page Zoom, click on 100%. 


Method 3: Using key shortcuts. 

Press Control and + to zoom in and Control and to zoom out. 

On Mac, press Command and + and to zoom in and out. 


Method 4: Zoom in and out of Google Sheets on mobile.

Open a google sheet on your Android or iOS device. 

Hold press two fingers onto the worksheet and pinch in/out to zoom in/out.
