Method #1: Using Keyboard, one object at a time.
Step #1: Open the PowerPoint presentation.
Open your presentation at the slide where you have multiple objects.
Step #2: Select the first object.
Click the mouse cursor on the object you wish to select first.
This selects the first object.
Step#3: Select the next object.
Press and hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard.
Click on the next object you want to select.
Now you have selected two objects.
Step #4: Select the other objects.
Repeat Step #3 for the other objects you want to select.

Method #2: Using Keyboard, all objects together
Step #1: Open the PowerPoint presentation.
Open your presentation at the slide where you have multiple objects.
Step #2: Select all objects.
Click the mouse cursor anywhere on a blank part of the slide.
On your keyboard, type Ctrl+A
You have selected all objects.
Note: To deselect unwanted objects, hold the Ctrl key and click on them.
Method #3: Using the Selection Pane and Keyboard
Step #1: Open the PowerPoint presentation.
Open your presentation at the slide where you have multiple objects.
Step #2: Open Selection Pane.
Click on the Home tab in the top menu bar to change the ribbon.
In the section Drawing, click on the Arrange icon.
This opens a drop-down menu.
Click on the Selection Pane tab at the bottom of the menu.
The Selection Pane opens.
Click on Show All tab to show all objects.
Step #3: Select the first object.
Click the object you wish to select first in the Selection Pane.
This selects the first object.
Step #4: Select the next object.
Press and hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard.
Click on the next object you want to select in the Selection Pane.
Now you have selected two objects.
Step #5: Select other objects.
Repeat Step #4 for the other objects you want to select.
You have selected multiple objects.
Click on the X mark in the top right corner to exit the Selection Pane.
